FileConverter Privacy Policy

1. Local file processing

FileConverter processes all your files directly on your device. No file is ever sent to an external server. Your documents, images, audio files and videos stay exclusively on your phone.

2. Personal data

The app collects no personal data. No user account is required. We have no access to your files or your personal information.

3. Advertising

FileConverter uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect certain data for advertising purposes, including:

• The device advertising identifier
• Anonymized usage data
• Technical information about the device

In regions where it applies (notably the GDPR), a consent form lets you accept or refuse personalized ads. You can change this choice at any time from the app settings.

4. Local storage

App preferences (theme, default quality) and the conversion history are stored locally on your device. This data never leaves your device and is deleted when the app is uninstalled.

5. Permissions

The app only requests the permissions it needs to work:

• File access for conversion
• Notifications to tell you when conversions finish
• Internet to display ads
